Greetings to everyone on my cyberland space,

Frost is close to being on the pumpkin this week.
Leaves are turning colour and many are falling fast with the rain and wind.

Changes happening quicker than we can imagine or maybe than we would like to see them happening.
Before we know it the election rehetoric will end and we will see a new government formed.

Like falling leaves in the autumn we know that a few of the MP's will fall from power and some new "red, blue, orange and green" flowers will grace Parliament Hill.
(Green being the green party, not the Marijuana party.)

Speaking of marijuana, I had the opportunity to join with a crowd of about 500 to see Margaret Trudeau at the high school last evening.
She spoke of her mental illness (bipolar disorder) that has plague her for so much of her life.
Her movement in and out of different medications (including self medication with "big bags" of marijuana).
The stress that the illness had wrought upon friends and family (and the PMO)
and how necessary it is to remove the stigma that is attached to people who suffer from mental illness in order to help our society become more comfortable with the fact that it is an illness, like any other illness, that we need to seek treatment for.

It was a wonderful evening, with a beautiful, eloquent, unabashedly honest and open, humorous lady, who has been to hell and back, and is living in wellness now, thanks to many caring, loving, people.

My prayer is that she will continue to be well into the future.

Something that was a bit comical is that she spoke of politicians a very wonderful, caring, concerned people who want to work for the betterment of our country, (then jokingly referred to them as bullsh****ers) as she pulled at her hair with both hands.
Isn't her son Justin running for federal election??
Who knows he might take up 24 Sussex some day.

Have a good balance to this wonderful week.
If you are able to go, enjoy the Roseneath Agricultural Fair.
Sunday is World Communion Day, and as such we will be celebrating the Holy Sacrament at both churches.

Blessings and Peace to all,
Jamie

Prayer:
Gracious God, bless us as sojourners in this life.
May Your presence be in us, around us, over us, and under us.
In the name of the Holy One who loves us beyond all measure, we pray.  Amen.
