Prayer of Confession Reading #7

            Many have gone before us God, who have put everything on the line for you.
            They have withstood doubt and fear, persecution, poverty and despair because
            they believed in your leadership in their lives.
            May we be willing to do as they have done;
            May we be willing to confess where we sometimes go wrong, times when we     
            have not served you to the best of our ability.
            We pray in the name of the compassionate Christ, Jesus our Lord.........
