                      Power of life, lover of all beings,
                      we come to you seeking another chance to be your people.
                      Forgive us our haste in getting rid of all
                            that seems unproductive in the world.
                      Forgive our hesitancy to prune away the dead wood in ourselves.
                      Forgive us for not tending to ourselves and others
                            with love and healing.
                      Help us to have your forgiving spirit, that all will find another
                            chance with us in your love.
